Lumberjacking (taken from the Second Age Play Guide printed in 1998, slightly modified)
You must have a hatchet or axe equipped. Use the axe, then click on a tree. If successful, you will get 10 logs.
Wood is required by both people using Bowcraft and Fletching and Carpentry in order to craft items.
Other resource gathering skills include Fishing and Mining.

Lumberjacking does not give a damage bonus when using axes in conjunction with the Swordsmanship skill.
Note: *Unattended* Macroing lumberjacking is illegal on this shard (as well as other resource gathering skills).
