Meteor Swarm

Meteor Swarm unleashes a powerful Fireball spell which can do upwards of 40 damage to the area surrounding your target. If multiple targets are in the area, the damage is divided among the targets. This spell is particularly useful for gaining resisting spells, since it yields the same chance to gain as flamestrike but does far less damage if multiple targets are present. This makes it possible for one caster to hit multiple targets in the same area, saving both reagents and bandages in the process. (note: Meteor Swarm is no longer an effective way to gain resist, as gains are now partially based on damage).

Meteor swarm is also a popular house-killing spell, along with earthquake. Meteor swarm can be targeted on a wall/ceiling tile of a house and do damage to the players/animals inside the house. This makes it possible to kill players inside, even if all the doors are closed and locked. However, the victim must be within a 3x3 coordinate of the target (1,1 being target location). For example, if the victim is standing on the exact center tile of a small house, meteor swarm will be unable to do damage to them, no matter where the caster targets.
