Guilds:The Warlords (WL)

The Warlords are a group of mature people seeking camaraderie, mutual assistance and most of all: fun. Among other things we farm, PvP, PK and run vendors. The main guildstone (WL) does not war (see our war guild: W-L). While we can offer guidance and temporary housing, all members are expected to be self sufficient.

Who we are

WL is a guild that welcomes all playstyles. WL's main goal is to be a brotherhood of players that represents a little bit of each player involved. We stick together, we build, protect, and live in our city together, and we do business and trade with each other just like the traditional guilds in Europe did. But, WL is not a Trammel guild; we PK, we PvP, we loot houses and we even have a few thieves. We are mostly mature people; we avoid scamming, rez killing and trash talking. We value integrity, ingenuity and teamwork.

What you get out of WL depends on what you put into WL.

Recruitment to WL

We recruit players, not individual characters; we are more interested in the person running the toon than the toon itself. We are looking for mature, intelligent people who are fun to be around. To avoid divided loyalties, membership in WL generally excludes membership in any other guild. Members are encouraged to have their alternate characters join the guild. Also, current members may “sponsor” a new member--sponsoring means you are vouching that the new member is of WL quality.

All new members are considered probationary for the first couple of weeks until we get to know you. New members are given the provisional title of “Minion”. After a couple weeks, you may request a new title (such as Warlord of XYZ) if your skills warrant it.

Things that will score you points:

hanging out with other WL members
organizing guild activities
taking initiative

Things that will get you booted:

monopolizing guild chat with trivial BS
not getting involved with other WL members
asking to be spoon fed information or entertainment
going inactive without letting leadership know about it

Black Gate
